first of all congrats to two of my dearest friends, danielle jao and evan webb. it was like a scene straight from the great gatesby. love love LOVE the decorations. had a wonderful time got to meet up with all the friends i didnt have time to meet up this trip too.

my friends “dodgy boyfriend” in the first photo convinced everyone to down shots at barcode while he stayed…relatively sober. while they headed home i headed to spark around the corner, why do i love taipei everything is within a 75nt cab fare. that equals a $2.50 cab fare in australia.

shave ice that is flavoured is also a must in taipei, especially in the hot humid weather. the one i tried is almond flavoured. sometimes i get the milk flavoured one and i get them to drizzle it with chocolate. its really simple and really good. then i went off to the beats by dr dre party at luxy. apparently lady gaga was going to show up after her concert but she didnt :(

ding tai fong and luxy 

couldnt have been a more perfect night. my first stop in taipei is always ding tai fong, it has hands down the best dumplings in the world. thinking of them while i am blogging just makes me hungry. then to top of the night is my favourite night of the week, wednesday nights at luxy night club is always too fun for words. its a must visit if any of you head to taipei.
